Shorts are usually a good fit when the feels-like temperature is around 70°F or warmer, especially if the clothing recommendation is shorts or breathable clothing. Between 60-70°F, shorts can still work if it is sunny and calm; below that, long sleeves or pants are usually more comfortable. Flip flops can work in shorts-friendly weather, but choose more supportive shoes if you will be walking far or if rain is possible.
